Biofuel Industry Still Chugging Along

Every six months I check in on developments in the biofuel industry. My "reminder" to do so is when I attend each of the Biofuel Digest ABLC (Advanced Biofuels Leadership Conference) gatherings, which was going on this time last week in San Francisco. Biofuel Digest and its publisher Jim Lane are the bible of biofuels, and that publication and its conferences are the hub of industry developments.

Last week's summit, ABLCNext, focused more on specialty chemicals than biofuels, in part because chemicals are the strategic fulcrum that will propel the industry to profitability.
