Insiders Aren't Buying Much

It is hard to believe we are rapidly approaching the end of the first half of 2017. While the market continues to hit all-time highs within the major indices, it has been a rally led by the largest companies by market cap, such as Apple AAPL. The Russell 2000 has started to behave a bit better of late, but as of mid-May, this small-cap benchmark was flat for the year.

The other thing we have not seen much of is insider buying. Insiders have been almost entirely sellers during this year's rally.
