Your Best Short-Term Metal Trades
On Wednesday, I looked at the large-cap gold stock sector using the Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX). The corollary small-cap ETF is the Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ) and it looks reasonably horrific.
The damage is extensive already, and the potential for further declines looks problematic, but that doesn't mean we should simply write off gold and gold stocks and close the books. Pull the charts back and look at the longer term. Gold is still in a bull market move, it's just undergoing a serious correction.
