Going away can be nice. However, when you are away from the market for even just a few days, it can feel like a very long time. It can be like building a house, but going away for a few weeks while the construction crew works. You arrive home to review the progress the construction crews have made in your absence. You will immediately notice certain changes and improvements, but other differences may take hours or even days before you recognize them.
Worse, though, is when you come back to damage and destruction. Being away for even a short bit can feel like an eternity. The anxiousness of headline news is enough to get your imagination going. Folks who had property or businesses that were affected by Hurricane Sandy felt this angst recently, and many are still feeling the effects.
