Mobile Devices Power Cyber Monday
Early results for Cyber Monday from IBM's Digital Analytics Benchmark show a 25.6% year-over-year increase in online sales. IBM's figures also show robust usage of mobile devices, with 20.4% of consumers using a mobile device to visit a retailer's site and 10.1% using their mobile device to make a purchase.
By device, Apple's (AAPL) iPhone is driving more retail shopping than any other device, with traffic reaching 7.9%, vs. 6.7% for the iPad and 5.6% for Google's (GOOG) Android-powered devices.
