Pick Up LabCorp Before It Bubbles Over
My last Real Money Pro article on LabCorp (LH) came Sept. 10, when the stock was selling for $88.78. By Oct. 8 the shares had jumped to $94.30. I was happy that I owned it, but I'd wished I'd gotten more before the shares shot higher.
Last week my wish was granted. Third-quarter earnings came in at $1.76 per share vs. $1.61 in 2011, yet the stock sank as low as $84.36 on Halloween.
