Tech Troubles
The technology sector is on the defensive internally. The group is weakening from the inside out and this weakness was being masked by strength in several of the large-cap technology names such as Apple (AAPL), IBM (IBM) and Google (GOOG).
Recent earnings releases have disappointed and brought some selling back into the large-cap technology names that were previously showing strength. This has changed the dynamic in the technology sector and exposed the internal weakness of the group. The sector is on the defensive and vulnerable, but there may be some good news for the bulls.
