So, Alcoa (AA) leads off earnings season. Earlier I said having AA kick off earnings is like having your slowest runner and worst hitter in the leadoff spot of the batting order. The more I think about it, it may be like kicking off the Miss America pageant with a pie eating contest. I hope Donald Trump is paying attention here because I just gave him ratings gold.

I often trade AA into earnings. I will say it can be tricky since the exit timing is often crucial. If you sell too soon, you often won't make much, and if you hold too long, you'll often make nothing.
