Apple's Future Looks Bright

Given its enormous market capitalization and widespread ownership, I'm sure many investors are wondering this morning about the future of Apple (AAPL) without its visionary leader, Steve Jobs. Although his departure from our world was widely anticipated, emotions are difficult to manage, and may impact the performance of the stock over the short term.

Given its pre-eminent standing in the most desirable retail demographic (people under 50), its global reach and its still relatively small market penetration in personal computing hardware and mobile phones, the future looks quite bright for Apple, even without Jobs at the helm.
