As we wait for the jobs report this week, consider this question: Why have the number of food service jobs grown at more than double the rate of overall job creation since the end of 2009? Someone must be eating out more often -- waiters and cooks don't get hired without reason.
So, where jobs are created, and where they are not? Both presidential candidates are promising support for middle class job creation or something to that effect. I'm not going to pick sides in that debate, as I don't think any politician, no matter how well intentioned, can do anything about what type of jobs are created in this country.
