Topping Is a Process
It was a rocky week for the market, winding up a very strong quarter. The action was mostly straight up the last three months before suffering the first real selling in a while this week. There was an obvious window-dressing bounce Thursday, but no follow-through today, and many key stocks like Apple (AAPL) quickly rolled over again.
It has been my contention that the market is undergoing a topping process and the inability to build on Thursday's bounce provided further confirmation. A healthy market should not see a bounce like that reverse so quickly.
