It's Apple's World, We Just Live in It
It's a phone. It doesn't cure cancer. It won't bring about world peace. It isn't a one-time event or even a limited quantity. If they sell out, they will make more. Seeing these lines for the fifth version of a phone that is already owned by everyone I know who wants one makes a little bit of my belief that humans are the dominant species die just a little.
Apple (AAPL) is not only in the news today, it is the news. The world is nothing more than a giant Apple tree, and you either enjoy the shade of being under Apple by being long or risk getting hit in the head by some falling fruit being short. A straight march to $705 over the first hour of trading after a very quick early morning hiccup, but I think this one is too tough to call a pin on today.
