Another Slow-Moving Friday

It's another slow summer Friday. After the first 30-60 minutes, a round of golf or a very early lunch followed by an even earlier happy hour seem like the better play. Trickles of news about the talks regarding Syria keep hitting the wires. I would say that if we are going to see any negative news of talks, it will be after the market is closed for today.

Although I typically don't like buying on Friday, I am picking up shares of American Capital Agency (AGNC) and Corrizo Oil & Gas (CRZO). American Capital Agency is breaking higher out of an ascending triangle and points all the way to $27. The two support levels for the stock are $23.40 and $22.90; the latter is the one I am using. There is also a double bottom just below $20.50, but I don't think many folks want to put a stop that far away. Keep an eye on the Commodity Channel Index.
