This Rally Is All in the Charts

No one likes this rally. It makes the Energizer bunny look lazy. Argue fundamentals all you like, but it is simply getting you run over. This is still a technically driven market, along with "free" money looking for a home. Liquidity has nowhere to go but into stocks, until it doesn't.

I still believe the technical indicators will be the key there. The technical indicators will be the blinking red light telling folks that everyone has woken up to the fundamental issues in the economy. The bears need to hibernate. The bears need to give in. The bears need to stop screaming, since no one is listening. We are still an algorithm-driven market, and there is no common sense or reasoning. There is no "little voice" saying we've run too far or done it too fast. There are headlines, reaction to headlines and technicals.
