Crawling to the Short Side
Although I have maintained a consistent view that this market would find a way to fulfill the crawl thesis, I am considering whether the great escape has already come and gone. While I'm not ready to declare that just yet, the two legs this market has stood on for the past year and a half continue to be shaky.
One leg, the Federal Reserve, is still supportive of the market but increasingly finds itself handcuffed by what it can and can't do.
