Navigating Polaris
Let's face it, when you think about all that is going on in the world's economies and how many struggles are still out there, the first thing that comes to mind surely isn't all-terrain vehicles.
But somehow Polaris Industries (PII) continues to impress. In fact, a Citi analyst was out yesterday commenting that channel checks with dealers show PII gaining market share from competitors and growing sales. Valuation wise, this is a bit of a tweener with some debt, but nothing burdensome, some cash on the books, but nothing over the top, a decent dividend, but nothing that will draw income players, an attractive PEG rate, but without the grow rate to attract those looking for high growth or a PEG low enough to attract value players and a mid-single-digit short interest that keeps some on their toes, but not enough to create a huge squeeze....368 more words left in this article.
