Stalking Two Industry leaders
It wasn't a great performance for the market Thursday, as major averages finished near session lows. After Wednesday's nice gains in lighter volume, stocks fell in higher volume on Thursday. The percentage declines weren't severe, but volume on the Nasdaq rose above Wednesday's levels. Translation: Another day of mild institutional selling for the tech index.
The weakness was attributed to lack of specifics from Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke about further stimulating the economy at a speech in Minneapolis. There's no need for the market to fret.
