No Love for Facebook
It is really hard to get behind any kind of long theme with Facebook (FB). I really can't recall a stock this hated in a long time.
There are plenty of hated stocks in the market and one has to be the most hated. Is FB there? I'm not sure I'm ready to declare it the most hated, but I would certainly nominate it as a contender. It is just as hard to put a bottom on this stock as well with the lockup releases still waiting to unleash their fury. The first release went worse than I had expected, but it has passed. The November release is the largest concern. But the company finally spoke out yesterday, which has been a first outside of the earnings release. This is a big step, but only one step. I get the feeling FB realizes it needs to play ball with Wall Street.
