Too Fragrant to Resist
Over the last few quarters I have shared my positive view on International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), which offers just what its name implies to a diverse group of consumer-product companies. I have also focused on spice, seasoning and marinade powerhouse McCormick (MKC). Looking out into the balance of the year, the holiday season stands to benefit McCormick's business as well as that of IFF, and particularly the fragrance business for the latter. Going one step further in the fragrance food chain reveals a number of companies, including Proctor & Gamble (PG), Estee Lauder (EL), L'Oreal, Revlon (REV) and Avon (AVP).
Another company that has announced an interesting development in its business is Inter-Parfums (IPAR).
