Crackling Action Every Which Way
Not only did we see some interesting earnings action after the bell Wednesday, but Thursday has brought a lot of bond- and commodity-related action to focus on -- as well as the earnings plays from Wednesday.
First, the good news was the bad news on Big Lots (BIG). For anyone long the September $37.50 puts from Wednesday, with or without any call spreads, this one worked out well. If you were more patient than I, then you did much better, as I covered the puts with long stock in the premarket. I wouldn't get greedy here.
