A Quick Groupon Play

Are you ready to get long clipping online coupons? Groupon (GRPN) is more than online coupons, but is Wall Street ready to trust the company yet? Better yet, is the company ready to show Wall Street something of note yet? With the stock up almost 80% year to date, it is time to show investors that GRPN is turning the corner with better guidance. Another big question is how the company is performing while undergoing a shift in leadership. GRPN has seemed to adjust to mobile quite well, and if it's learned anything from earnings this season, focus should be on mobile, especially if more users access and buy through mobile.

The chart has started to break down today. While there is a nearly 8% short interest, I don't have any interest in the long side. I included a possible long side trade on the chart, which is an unbalanced skip/strike butterfly, but for me, the premiums are too high to chase on the long side for what I feel is a flawed business model. The priced-in move for options has risen above 16% and will continue to bounce around today. This is one of the biggest expected moves on my screen.
