Much Ado About a 3% Rally
As longtime readers know, each night after the market closes, I put a pencil to the paper and plot a pile of stock charts. On each, I plot the high, the low, the close and the volume. Before you scoff and call me a dinosaur (I am, but that's beside the point), let me explain.
When I first got into the business, a personal computer was not found on every desk. Heck, fax machines were new technology! So we plotted our charts by hand. In the mid-1990s, I tried to give this up and actually found that I missed it.
