Four More Potential Earnings Plays

I went through a very long list of names that reporting earnings today, to try and find some interesting plays. The market has been one big correlated mess, but earnings names have moved unto themselves, so I'll stay in that arena until we head back into earnings hibernation in just a few weeks.

First on my list is QEP Resources (QEP) and its very bullish "W" formation, which has me considering August $30 calls around $1.15. Most of the charts in the oil and gas sector have set up well into earnings. Those that have good reports are being rewarded significantly, while tepid reports aren't necessarily hammering prices.
