The Day Ahead: Listen to These Rich Old Guys
Much to the pure, unadulterated horror of those fine folks who trained me in investment selection, I have been poring over more stock charts of late. A small place in my heart has always been reserved for chart-reading, perhaps because of the bright green and red bars on the trading screen.
Still, to be honest, I have had enough of staring at these. Seemingly each evening, and in to into the wee hours of the morning, I have been viewing eerily similar patterns. For example, Coach (COH) and Caterpillar (CAT) are in downtrends that are unlikely to turnaround anytime soon. (Gosh, how ugly are these quarters going to be?)
