A Quick Lesson on Market Gaps
It amazes me that so many analysts, even of the technical variety, can't seem to accurately spot a gap on a chart. This ain't rocket science.
On Tuesday, while perusing some comments from different analysts, the word "gap" popped out at me in two different columns. This caught my attention, so I read on. In one case, the gap in the S&P 500 from last Friday at 1367.58 was cited as having been filled during the morning pop, and in the other, the downside gap from June 29 was cited at 1329.
