Melting for Hershey
On Monday, Hershey (HSY) held its annual analyst powwow -- and, since I'm addicted to Twizzlers, I decided to check out the company's presentation and see if I could score some free swag. Back in April, the shares jumped after the company reported a $0.15 earnings-per-share beat on strong revenue growth and higher guidance.
With a two-year return of over 40%, investors have been gobbling up shares of Hershey. In a massive 263-page presentation, management team outlined its goals for the next five and spent quite some time highlighting its international growth opportunities. Why spend time chasing some tech stock you don't understand when you can hide in chocolaty goodness and collect a nice safe dividend?
