Drilling Into a Few Oil Plays

As I review my notes from TheStreetMonster conference over the weekend, I see that I was particularly interested in any energy names mentioned. I've been looking for a second-half move from strength over the last year in natural gas and related names into the very oversold area of coal. The rails have continued to chug along, but no fire has been lit under buyers' feet to get into coal. I wasn't surprised that Jim Cramer didn't toss out a coal name for consideration during his presentation Saturday. His energy focus stayed in the oil sector, which, for a longer-term view, is difficult to argue against.
