Papa John's Chart Has Better Ingredients

Domino's Pizza (DPZ) has been the big cheese in the pizza space for a while, outperforming Papa John's (PZZA) by 17% over the last year, but technical indications suggest the laggard could be preparing to make up some of that lost ground.

The graphs at the top of the daily chart show the relative relationship between the two stocks over the last year, and while Domino's has been headed higher, Papa John's has been regrouping and forming a cup-and-handle base. It is currently retesting the rim line resistance level of the pattern in the $80.20 area and a successful breakout projects a price objective measured by adding the height of the candle to the neckline, which would target its December 2016 highs....90 more words left in this article.
