This Could Be Apple's Next Platform Play

Earlier this week, many people were scratching their heads over the potential deal for Apple (AAPL) to buy Beats Electronics for a purported $3.2 billion. That's a drop in the cash bucket at Apple, but it could lead to an improved streaming-music service to take on Pandora (P), or allow it to attack the car market and go head to head with Harmon (HAR), as Jim Cramer has pointed out. Or it could result in some new headphone product offering.
