Four Strategies for After-Hours Earnings

I'll admit I took a short at Twitter (TWTR) this morning.

It cracked $35 and I thought we would see the flush out of sellers and a decent bounce in the name. Man, was I wrong. I'm content holding some shares at this price level and will even consider selling some May out-of-the-money puts into the end of the day here. The fact that we'll see 100 million-plus shares cross the tape tonight is actually a plus for those looking for a wipeout of sellers here. I do think we saw extended downside as a lot of traders had the same thought as me of trying to grab some shares early and play the bounce. I'm guessing many set stops at or just below the day's lows and then repeated the process several times continuing to come in and getting taken out....588 more words left in this article.
