Block Out the Noise

I pay more attention to what is being done than what is being said. We can listen and believe in whatever we hear but, at the end of the day, actions are what count most. We see what's done every day by market players, we hear analysts say this or that about company XYZ and we listen to company executives spin a recent quarter or offer up hope for the future. But all of that chatter is meaningless. Show me action instead of words!

The last couple of days may have put the bulls on their heels. There was no dip-buying, increased fear, buying protection (put-call ratio was high both days) and increased volatility.
