Con-way (CNW) is one of the top 10 gainers on the NYSE this morning. The trucking company is surging over 12% on very heavy trade after reporting above-expectations first-quarter earnings. Last night's bullish news sparked a powerful gap-higher open that lifted shares well above their previous 2012 peak.
After a brief dip in the early going dropped shares back down to their March highs, Con-way was back in rally mode. The stock is now stabilizing above its open, as plus-side trade reaches its heaviest level this year.
