Focus on LinkedIn's Past Earnings Action

Although LinkedIn (LNKD) was beaten up in pre-earnings just as Twitter (TWTR) and Yelp (YELP) were, I am actually in a tough spot now. Twitter, even though many would have you believe had low expectations, did poorly. Yelp, which actually had low expectations, did quite well into earnings. I was able to see those clearly. I really wish LinkedIn was acting more like Yelp into earnings, but the stock did get a solid push this morning all the way to $164 before giving back an Honest Abe ($5).

The chart on LNKD has been a tough one. However, the move today does create a nice potential for about $10-$15 targets on either side. Bulls absolutely do not want to see the lows give way while bears don't want to see this over $170 on a closing basis tomorrow.
