Kulicke & Soffa (KLIC) is surging on very heavy trade. The semi equipment company is up over 9% following this morning's premarket earnings release.

Kulicke & Soffa's second-quarter results sparked a powerful gap-higher open that lifted the stock 3.5%. The opening print marked the low as investors jumped all over the stock, quickly reversing the ugly pre-earnings action.
