Day Ahead: What Can Change the Tone?
While perusing SEC filings last night, I took a passing glance at the S&P 500 month-to-date chart. It has been a peculiar month to handicap for the pros (who were long into earnings season) and extra hard for the average investor (also long into earnings season as they followed the advice of the pros).
First-quarter earnings are likely to go in the history books as surprisingly robust.
