For nearly three weeks we've been trading a market stuck in balance, and while this is perfect for a range trader, it wreaks havoc on breakout traders wanting to position themselves more aggressively. The Es broke down back on Good Friday when vacationing equity traders were unable to react to a worse-than-expected NFP employment report, and buyers have failed to re-establish themselves as the dominant force in the market ever since.
