Following Up on Two Tech Plays
Lots of things are getting thrown at traders this morning, as we are dealing with the Spanish bond auction, Europe in general, weekly jobless numbers, the Philly Fed and a bevy of earnings reports.
Speaking of earnings, I did play two names yesterday, F5 Networks (FFIV) and Qualcomm (QCOM). Initially it looked as though both would be winners because of the moves lower right after the reports, but F5 Networks has staged a monster rally off the $110 low after hours. Fortunately, this was a bi-directional play, looking for volatility. F5 Networks is in a solid position to take at least half the trade off the table.
