2 Financials Added to My Shopping List

It was nice to start the trading week with a significant rally Monday. Particularly encouraging was the rally in the last hour of trading -- a rarity over the last couple of weeks. Maybe we are getting through this recent rough patch, but I believe further turmoil could be ahead. This means I continue to maintain a shopping list of names I would buy or add to on any substantial dips in the market. I wrote about a couple of retail names on that list Monday. Today, I want to discuss names I am watching in the financial sector.

Financials should do well if the economy strengthens in the second half of the year, as most pundits predict.
