Two Plays in the Waste Space
If you looked at just a few charts over the last several days that did not include Apple (AAPL), Starbucks (SBUX) or Chipotle (CMG), you may have noticed a very common reversion of price to the 50-day moving average. It is a safe move for stocks. The retreat allows for the relief of unsustainable upward pressures, and the average is considered an area of solid psychological support. Two stocks in the waste services space have reverted to their 50-day moving averages, but they are exhibiting very different behavior.
