Don't Give It All Away
I've read a lot of children's book over the past 10 years. (That's because I have kids, not because of my reading level.) I find it funny that many children's books do a better job teaching us about expectations and behavior than most anything else in life. One of my twins' favorites right now is Rainbow Fish -- a story about a beautiful fish with shiny scales that lets ego and selfishness get in the way of sharing and making friends. By not sharing her shiny scales, Rainbow Fish soon finds herself alone and without friends.
