Novice Trade: Apple

It looks like Apple (AAPL) will post earnings the week of April 28, but we are not sure because the company has not confirmed the date. That said, Apple has reported that same week since at least 2011 so I believe it's somewhat of a safe bet that it will this time, too.

Why the introduction? Well, because of the uncertainty around when earnings will be reported I can buy the April 28 weekly contract for about 18%. Meanwhile, the following week, a week we know will encompass earnings, has an IV of 22%.
