2 Questions From the Biotech Mailbag

Well it has been another interesting week. The Northeast got slammed by a Nor'Easter, which was not as bad as feared but still makes me happy that I spend the winters here in Miami. Meanwhile, the Obamacare repeal and replacement effort seems to ebbing, as Republicans recreate their primary season and once again forming a circular firing squad. The initiative seems dead in the water, absent some changes that can get all but two of the party's Senators on board.

The markets survived the first Federal Reserve rate hike of the Trump Era, and the central bank currently plans two more quarter-point rises before the year is out. And once again, the biotech sector tried and failed to breach upward resistance levels that have been firmly in place for 15 months.
