Pull the Plug on Utilities
Last summer, yield-chasers drove electric utility shares to extreme valuations and historically low yields. The group briefly spiked to very overpriced levels, as noted in the chart below. The price action from August through November was not pretty. They're almost back to that same two-standard deviation above normal valuation.
