Last week I started a series of columns that highlight guru strategies I rarely have a chance to write about because they favor so few stocks. That first column discussed David Dreman, and today's focus is Joseph D. Piotroski.
The stock strategies I use are based on the writings of some of Wall Street's most notable investors and theorists. Piotroski is an associate professor of accounting at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the only full-time academic I include among my guru strategists and the only one who's not a professional investor.
