Friday's Market Review
Friday's regular session rebound went a long way toward dulling the pain of frightened dip buyers, but those buyers were still forced to deal with a loss on the week. Considering that the net decline of the week was a whopping three handles, my inclination is to poke fun at those panicked over a bit of selling. But taking into account the volume that accompanied the decline, the apparent stabilization in U.S. Treasuries and yen futures and the strength in classically defensive sectors (utilities, tobacco and consumer durables), I think it's fairly reasonable for those that had been unmitigated bulls over the past two months to question their path going forward....432 more words left in this article.
