Friday's Market Review

Friday's session began with a bang as January's employment-situation report was released. The data hit the wires at 8:30 a.m. EST, and in the span of three minutes the E-mini S&P 500 traded as high as 1786.25 and as low as 1758.25. Ahead of the data, we had been looking for resistance near 1788, and major support between 1761.50 and 1757.50. But I don't think there's a trader among us who expected the Es to test both regions in the span of a few minutes.
