Three Names on My Radar

I only brought one earnings play into today: Baidu (BIDU). I have already exited the meat of the trade, the diagonal put side -- perhaps a bit early, but at a profit, which is the goal of the trade. The BIDU trade wasn't drawn up for its home-run potential, but more for the high probability of the potential profit I saw in the trade. With the goal achieved, it is time to look forward to today where I have three names on my radar.

First up is Disney (DIS). I have to say that overall, I like the company and the stock. I'm a little worried about the upcoming movie Oz the Great and Powerful, as I do worry that it could underperform; however, that isn't a concern for this quarter. February earnings have been better for the bulls than the bears. I'm not expecting a huge move for DIS, but if a selloff takes the stock down to the $51 level in after-hours or tomorrow's trading, then I will buy some shares. However, given I'm not expecting a huge move, I'm will buy the February 15 $52.5-$55-$57.50 call unbalanced butterfly, which is long 2 by short 3 by long 1, respectively, for about $2.37 each....435 more words left in this article.
