Worth Considering

It's another crazy night for earnings. I've been crushed a bit with all the news and action surrounding a certain social media site, which shall remain nameless. I still have a few interesting charts to share, however, and may even look to sneak into all four of these names.

The first two are Acme Packet (APKT) and Digital River (DRIV). Neither has been impressive for some time, both have disappointed with earnings and guidance, both have big short interests, and both have been left for dead. That's the perfect recipe for a big pop this earnings season. If you're looking for very speculative long positions, then check out the charts on these names. Either of them could see a quick 10% pop or more with in-line earnings and raised guidance. I don't think it would take much. Looking at the charts, each seems to have a downside around 10%, but upside of 10% to 20%.
