Several traders thought I was nuts to post the chart of the 4-hour continuous Es contract Tuesday morning in Columnist Conversation, but the fact is, I was expecting a strong response from sellers. My general thesis was that because price was gaping outside of the prior day's range (and no meaningful news was supporting the move), the most likely move off the open would be a fade back toward the nearest area of agreed-upon fair value -- and in Tuesday's case that area was approximately 1308....661 more words left in this article.
