Tuesday's Market Review
The talk of the town continues to be Dell's (DELL) leveraged buyout and Apple's (AAPL) sub-$500 pricing, but perhaps traders are focusing their attention in the wrong direction. Consider for a moment that the E-mini S&P 500 futures continue to attract dip-buyers, most recently against the 10-day simple moving average. At the same time, financial stocks are attracting bullish attention on an almost daily basis, and Tuesday's retail-sales data indicates that reports of the U.S. consumer's death are more than a little overblown.
